5th/6th Grade, Fall 2024 BAYS
- A recent survey to 5th grade (rising 6th) parents indicated support for a professionally coached model at the 5th/6th level. We will be professionally coaching 4 teams at 5th/6th grade (2/gender).
- The cost of 5th/6th BAYS will be $250 upon registration opening. IF your child makes one of the top teams, then a difference of $350 will be invoiced to cover the cost of the pro coaching experience.
- The remaining 5th/6th grade teams will have volunteer Head Coaches as well as professional development coaches who will attend their practices 6-8 sessions/season.
- All 5th/6th grade teams will have 2 practices/week and Saturday games.
- All players will have the ability to opt in for Sunday practices for an additional 10-week cost.

Q. What if my child is a top team player, but they don't want to have a professional coach?
A. They will be placed on the appropriate next level BAYs team.
Q. What if my child is a top team player, but we cannot afford the increased cost?
A. Weston Soccer can provide financial support.

Commitment Policies:
- All players will be expected to attend at least 50% of practices. (Religious Holidays Excluded). At least one practice/week. We strongly encourage players to attend all practices in order to enhance player development and teamwork. Failure to meet these requirements could affect playing time.
- All players will be expected to attend 70% of games. If players miss more than 30% of games playing time may be affected (Religious Holidays Excluded). We strongly encourage players to attend all games in order to enhance player development and teamwork.
- We have established these guidelines so that players and teams are all treated fairly. It is not fair for a team to have a player or group of players that are only available for a limited number of practices or games. This does not promote teamwork or honor the commitment made to the club, coach, or fellow players.
